The primary purpose of LIDDERS is to promote resources and tools making them accessible to as many people as possible, with the hope that they (i.e YOU) will embrace them.

 

This includes a range of Free and Open Source Software; and online services.

The Only Way is Open Source (TOWiOS) promotes the use of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) with simple, basic user guides. Providing insights into Moodle, NextCloud, Joomla, Drupal, the GNU/Linux CLI and so much more...

Pupil Information Management System for Safeguarding

PIMSS is a web browser based software application specifically designed to assist with the welfare and safeguarding of children in education.

 

Front-end features include:

  • Submission and management of Safeguarding concerns.
  • The 'Amber Alert' to notify core users of welfare concerns requiring immediate assistance.
  • Student lookup.
  • 'Noticboard' to inform all users of key, core critical updates throughout the day.
  • Customisable 'Things to know section' to provide links to KCSIE legislation and other informative online resources.

 

Back-end gems:

PIMSS can be hosted on either a Windows or GNU/Linux platform. The software is modular, and relies on RBAC (Role Based Access Controls) to determine user access to its many features and functionalities.
